I have continued to read more and more into my cousin's tort's outline, and it proves to be a good source to learn from. A doubt that I do have is whether his Illinois materials is accurate when it comes to Texan torts, as the Texas has different laws, and my cousin's materials do cite local court cases. However, I do believe that the concept are the same in Texas, with my cousin's outlines being a general guideline, and the general idea of torts being somewhat constant in the country. I am also starting to have doubts on this original work, as I see this becoming something that will reflect a legislator's skill set, not a lawyer, as a lawyer doesn't make the law, they only debate how to follow the law and help the judge decide how to rule. Thus I am thinking about a project that will help consumers decide if suing is the best course of action to gain damages, as I think that will show knowledge over Personal Injury Law, and will align with my desire to help people. However, I doubt whether that is a good idea, and will most definitely bring that up with my mentor and ask for his advice.
