The Week After Break

This week in ISM was a busy one, I was focused on getting a mentor and working on my presentation. I had emailed Mr. Smith on Tuesday, but I had to create two in depth questions, something that I really wanted to stand out and show that I had a solid understanding of what it takes to be lawyer. When researching the questions, I had decided to structure them using the basis of Texas Law and what makes a certain law do the things it does. Unfortunately, I did not have a mentorship meeting that weekend as I'd hoped, but I did make plans for next weekend and that will be the time to spring the question on mentorship. The weekend was spent working on the upcoming presentation, making sure that visuals would be sufficient and supplement my speech, something that was lacking in my previous speech. I do worry that I haven't spent enough time practicing the speech, and that I will stutter in the speech halfway, purely because the slide show is structured around the exact time I decide to speak, but I do believe that stems from a lack of self trust, and I will be making sure that the end product will be a good one, and something that I will be proud of.
